Overview and Purpose

USA Citizenship Test is also known as the Naturalization Test. It is one of the basic steps to attain USA citizenship. The purpose of the test is to assess the applicant’s understanding of the United States. The test is about the applicant’s aptitude for understanding the country’s culture and heritage.

Before you attend the test, there is an interview session where an interviewer will test your spoken English skills. Another set of questions will be based on your application and your background. This is to verify the authenticity of your application and your personal background. For attending the test one should qualify in the naturalization interview.

The most important purpose of the test is to analyze the English skills of the applicant and his understanding of the civic life of the country. The test consists of 10 questions out of which you have to answer 6 questions correctly. For this test, you are provided with a database of 100 questions in this site to help you prepare thoroughly. By perfecting all the 100 questions you have the possibility of answering all the 10 questions correctly.

If the person fails to pass the exam or fails in either the English or civics tests, then the applicant has to take the exam once again with a new or old pattern of the exam. The time gap between the examinations is decided only on the day of examination if there is a necessity for you to rewrite the exam.
